After damageing two espresso grinders looking to grind spices within them, I tried this little gem. I've had it for nearly 6 months and it works wonderfully well! I've floor hard and comfortable spices in it and it smashs all of them down in a couple of pulses. I've even used it to grind moist spices in small quantities with equal success.

Pros:

1. It works for each moist and dry spices.
2. The cup and the lid can both be put within the dishwasher- no want to risk reducing your palms on the blade!
3. The cup has an internal rubber lid that can be utilized to retailer spices within the cup if you need to (I by no means do, however still..)

Cons:

1. After grinding, there is at all times spice mud on the outer edge of the grinder and in the crevices that has to be cleaned.

It ground all my spices, even cinnamon and nutmeg, to a high-quality texture.
